These barstools could not be easily assembled. The pre-drilled holes were “off”, and the footrest bars would not attach to the legs evenly. I finally had to bring them to a carpenter who puttied up the original holes, re-drilled holes in the correct places, and used store bought dowels and gorilla glue to make these stools useable.

Customer Review: Not Compatable with Bose 321 System
Don’t get me wrong, these are very nice speaker stands. However, they are not compatable with the Bose 321 Speaker System. The bracket to attach to the speakers must be modified before use (and I mean cutting metal)and since Bose uses a wiring harness, you must cut the wire before you can feed it through the hollow tubes. I was just not willing to do all that when I can buy the overpriced Bose stands and not have to modify anything. I called Customer Service at Sanus and the guy I spoke with was nice but completely oblivious to what I had to say. He told me it shouldn’t be that expensive to have a machine shop cut the brackets down to size and that if I didn’t mind hacking through my speaker wire and taping them back together, it should not have any effect on the sound. HUH??

These stands are well put together, my AV guy said they were the best he had seen. very heavy and sturdy and a good height for me. i bought Onkyo 7.1 system but im only using 5.1 speakers as it was a bit much to go with all 7.1 very happy with the product so if you need stands its two thumbs up.
